His vision
“Go beyond the minimum and make highly effective the standard.”
“My vision for the constituents of Wea Township is to exceed these state minimums where there is no doubt that our tax dollars are being utilized to benefit everyone with maximum efficiency.”

Ideas he’s exploring
In the same post, Alan said he was researching self-sustaining township programs, operated as non-profits at reduced cost to residents. The examples he gave:
- After-school care for working parents
- A wellness center
These are ideas he described as under research, not finished plans. See his post for his exact words.
In his own words
“Get involved, ask questions and demand answers.”
That’s how Alan signs off many of his posts. Here’s more from him, quoted exactly, with links to every original.
“This is a good opportunity to attend, ask questions and understand how our tax dollars are being utilized. I would recommend that if you have a concern please suggest a solution.”
“I will be interested in knowing that not just 1.6 million will be needed to fund the fire department but how is that 1.6 million is being spent.”
“My pledge to our Wea Township Fire Department personnel if elected … is that I WILL have absolute respect and answer every concern you may have.”
“Do your homework and choose wisely, your decision will affect our community.”
“…” marks where a quote has been shortened. The full text is always in the original post.

Why this race matters
What does a Township Trustee do?
It’s near the bottom of the ballot, but the township trustee is the executive of our township government. The trustee is responsible for:
Your tax dollars
Prepares the township budget, receives and pays out township funds, and keeps the financial records.
Fire protection
Provides fire protection for the township. In Wea, fire is the largest part of the township’s tax levy.
Neighbors in need
Runs township assistance, the local safety net for residents facing hardship.
Cemeteries, parks & property
Maintains township cemeteries and manages township property.
Public records
Keeps the township’s official records and makes them available for public inspection.
And the Township Board
A three-member board approves the budget and sets tax rates. It’s on your ballot too, so don’t skip it.
Transparency starts with you

Why this site exists
I’m a Wea Township resident and an independent supporter of Alan Williams. I’m not part of his campaign. I’ll admit I wasn’t sold on him at first, but I changed my mind. I came to believe residents deserve clear answers about how our township is run, and Alan keeps pushing for exactly that.
The trustee’s office affects more of our daily lives than most people realize: our fire protection, township assistance, our cemeteries and parks, and how our tax dollars are spent.
Everything here is in Alan’s own words, with links so you can read his full posts yourself. Do your own homework, ask questions, and vote all the way down the ballot.
